“Fine Things” (Jan. 26), NBC’s depiction of a segment in the life of a nice Jewish man, was OK. But what interested me was hearing the exquisitely beautiful “Jesus, Joy of Man’s Desire,” being used as the wedding march in a typically Jewish wedding complete with tallith, yarmulke and the breaking of the glass for good luck. The bride was not Jewish, so the incident screams for, at the very least, some brief discussion among the participants. Or was it simply an oversight by the producers?
