The Angels reached an agreement on a one-year contract with outfielder Junior Felix, avoiding an arbitration hearing. Felix, who hit .283 in 66 games in 1991, agreed to a contract of $590,000. He was seeking $690,000 in arbitration. The Angels had offered $450,000.
