CLU Women Win for 1st Time

Cathy Clayton scored a game-high 21 points and added 10 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Cal Lutheran women’s basketball team to a 58-52 overtime victory over visiting La Verne in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game.
Evelyn Albert added 14 points and 15 rebounds for Cal Lutheran (1-13, 1-5 in conference play). La Verne is 2-15, 0-6.
