Teen Riding Bike Hit, Killed by Truck

GARDEN GROVE — A 16-year-old boy was killed Tuesday morning when his bicycle collided with a truck.
The boy, whose name was withheld until relatives could be notified, was riding west across Harbor Boulevard shortly after 11 a.m. He crossed the northbound lanes and was trying to cross the busy street, just south of Garden Grove Boulevard, when the southbound truck hit him, police said.
The boy was dead on arrival at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
The truck driver was not cited.
