PREP NOTES : Corona del Mar Quarterback Kehrli to Attend Louisville
- Share via
Todd Kehrli, whose final two seasons as Corona del Mar quarterback were cut short by injuries, orally committed to Louisville Monday night.
Kehrli, 6 feet 4 and 220 pounds, visited Louisville early this month and “felt the most comfortable with it all-around.” He declined to name the other schools he considered.
This season, Kehrli completed 76 of 158 passes for 902 yards and three touchdowns and had eight passes intercepted in six games. His season ended in the Sea Kings’ first league game--a 21-10 loss to University--when he was sacked late in the fourth quarter and sustained a dislocated elbow on his non-throwing left arm.
As a sophomore, Kehrli led the Sea Kings to the Southern Section Division VI title, passing for a school single-season record of 1,686 yards. His junior season ended after the seventh game when he cut his right pinkie at a barbecue.
