Fresno State quarterback Mark Barsotti hopes to prove during the all-star game today in Montgomery, Ala., that he belongs in the NFL. His four-year record was 35-5-1.
Fresno State Coach Jim Sweeney, who will guide the Blue offense, predicted that Barsotti will be a second- or third-round NFL pick.
“Mark can throw the intermediate routes of 15 to 20 yards, the crossing patterns, the post patterns, the corner routes,” Sweeney said. “Most quarterbacks can’t throw those routes.”
