Hydraulics International Has $14.6-Million Contract

Hydraulics International Inc. in Chatsworth was awarded a $14.6-million contract to provide aerial store lift trucks and cold-start systems to the Air Force. The company, which manufactures and assembles aircraft and hydraulics equipment, won the award as part of the Small Business Administration’s campaign to help small companies win federal contracts. The SBA said that Hydraulics’ bid was $4.8 million lower than a competitor’s bid.
