Surfing and Grazing to Survive in TV Land
- Share via
Re “The Buzz” (Nov. 3) about that poor, bothered producer who hates it when viewers “surf” and “graze” (through the channels) because it wipes out the ratings: Does he actually suggest we should watch the shows?
Most of us don’t care a pin about the ratings. We want good programs of all kinds, and it seems the only time we get them are during sweeps months.
I suggest that all network executives watch their own network shows for one entire evening per week. OK, make it once a month. I don’t wish to be inhumane.
