PRO FOOTBALL REPORT WEEKDAY UPDATE : RAMS : Bailey, Perry Out for the Season

Ram cornerback Robert Bailey, who had the tip of his left ring finger torn off in Sunday’s game, had it sewn back on Monday morning in Detroit. Bailey is sidelined for the season.
Left tackle Gerald Perry was found to have torn cartilage in his left knee and season-ending surgery is scheduled for today.
Coach John Robinson said that middle linebacker Frank Stams would probably finally be activated off the injured list this week. Stams, who was deactivated the first two weeks then place on injured reserve in Week 3, suffered a leg injury during training camp after battling for the starting job and hasn’t played a down this year.
