Pacific Scientific Sells Division for $14 Million

Pacific Scientific Co. said it completed the sale of its Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Belfab division for $14 million to TI Group plc in England.
The division, which makes seals for industrial and aerospace applications, will be combined with TI Group’s John Crane Inc. seal manufacturing unit in Morton Grove, Ill.
Pacific Scientific, based in Newport Beach, plans to focus on its proprietary products such as industrial motors and control instruments.
