A San Diego State University student died Sunday when he lost his balance and fell from a cliff on Stonewall Peak in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park.
Robert K. Bennett, 34, of the 200 block of Brant Street, fell 60 feet as he and a friend were descending the cliffs about 5:30 p.m., a spokesman for the medical examiner’s office said.
Bennett died at the scene at 6:37 p.m.
