Eugene L. Babcock has been appointed corporate controller of Beckman Instruments Inc. in Fullerton. He was formerly manager of financial planning and analysis in Beckman’s diagnostic systems group. Babcock joined Beckman in 1989 as manager of group financial planning and analysis.
