North Greenville College in Greenville, S.C., suspended its men’s basketball program for one season after Coach Jeff Burkhamer resigned to become an assistant coach with LaCrosse, Wis., of the Continental Basketball Assn. The Mounties had a 58-10 record in two seasons under Burkhamer.
