I disagree strongly with Ray Ackerman’s comments regarding your column Hot Property (Aug. 11). Hot Property is very interesting and fun to read. I speak for many readers who thoroughly enjoy reading about celebrities and their lavish spending.
He’s correct in saying it’s fantasy but so what? It isn’t to them. Why get all upset and envious of these people? Surely he must get just a little amused from this somewhat ludicrous spending. Who else but these people can afford $40,000 per month to lease their homes? Ackerman should lighten-up, they are having a ball!
