SMALLER HOUSE: With concert crowds down during this recessionary summer (F1), Avalon Attractions, which promotes shows at the 15,000-capacity Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, is starting to think smaller in Orange County. . . . It plans to book more acts into the 2,500-seat Celebrity Theatre in Anaheim. The reasoning: Performers may be better off trying for two sell-outs in Anaheim than one partially filled arena in Irvine.
