The Los Angeles Department of Transportation has begun its summer weekend shuttle bus service linking Pacific Palisades with Will Rogers State Beach.
For 25 cents each way, beach-goers can hop aboard the Palisades DASH shuttle from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on summer weekends, transportation officials said. The shuttle will also operate July 4 and Labor Day.
The shuttle route starts at Palisades Highlands, winds through Pacific Palisades Village and makes beach stops along Pacific Coast Highway between Temescal Canyon Road and Sunset Boulevard. The service is designed to help improve traffic and parking problems along PCH, officials said.
