New Boss at KCBS-TV: As the May sweeps end and all of its local newscasts continue running third in Los Angeles, KCBS Channel 2 has done a little front-office sweeping. Steven Gigliotti has been named vice president and general manager, replacing Robert Hyland, who resigned. Hyland had been the station’s head man since April, 1987.
