From the Drama Desk: Neil Simon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Lost in Yonkers” and the musical “The Will Rogers Follies” were named best play and best musical of the season Sunday by New York’s Drama Desk, an association of New York drama critics, editors and reporters. The awards are often an indication of which shows will prevail at the Tony awards in June. “Lost in Yonkers,” about two teen-age boys who live with their grandmother, also won best actress in a play for Mercedes Ruehl. Best actor and actress in a musical went to Jonathan Pryce and Lea Salonga in “Miss Saigon.”
