Claremont’s Maguire Joins NAACP Board

John David Maguire, president of the Claremont Graduate School, has been elected to the national board of directors of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

Maguire is chairman of the Assn. of Independent California Colleges and Universities and the California Achievement Council, which works with minority students and faculty to improve achievement in low-performing schools.
