Davis Will Take Over Podium for Norrington

British conductor Andrew Davis will replace the indisposed Roger Norringtonat the L.A. Philharmonic concerts at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Pavilionon Thursday and March 30 at 8 p.m., and March 31 at 2:30 p.m.
Norrington is reportedly recuperating from surgery and has canceled all engagementsthrough May. Davis, who last led the Philharmonic in subscription concerts in January, will lead Norrington’s scheduled program, consisting of Beethoven’s Second Symphony and Berlioz’s”Symphonie Fantastique.”
