Alhambra : Golf Driving Range OKd

Duffers, rejoice! The Alhambra Golf Course is going to get a three-level, $562,749 driving range.
The Alhambra City Council on Monday awarded a contract to build the driving range to D. W. Powell Construction of Fontana.
City Manager Kevin Murphy said the facility will allow 38 golfers to practice their driving at the same time.
Murphy said construction of the range should begin within about 30 days.
