NATION : Bush Invites Mongol President

WASHINGTON — President Bush invited Punsalmaagiin Ochirbat, president of Mongolia, to Washington for a working visit on Jan. 23, a spokesman announced today.
White House Press Secretary Marlin Fitzwater said it will be the first U.S. visit for a Mongolian president.
Fitzwater also announced that Bush has invited Queen Margarethe II of Denmark to make a state visit to the United States Feb. 19-22. She has accepted the invitation for her first state visit to the United States and will be accompanied by Prince Consort Henrik. She will be accorded a ceremonial welcome and honored at a state dinner at the White House on Feb. 20.
