THE SIDELINES : 32 Held in Dutch Soccer Riot

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands — Dutch police arrested 32 soccer fans for hurling bricks and fireworks, damaging a fan train and other offenses surrounding a match between Ajax Amsterdam and Feyenoord Rotterdam, police said.
The detainees included fans of both teams, Rotterdam police spokesman Hans Stoop said Sunday.
Ajax beat Feyenoord in the Dutch Honor Division game, 4-0.
Both clubs’ fans are considered violence-prone, and police had taken extensive security measures.
