The Investment Company Institute reported that the assets of the nation’s 533 money market mutual funds rose by $1.02 billion in the latest week to an all-time high of $424.89 billion . . . New Zealand’s government said it will propose by month’s end allowing foreign firms to increase their stake in radio and television companies up to 49.9%, from 25% and 15%, respectively.
