Cal State Northridge and Loyola Marymount have been selected to play in the 20-team Women’s Invitational Volleyball Championship tournament this week at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Northridge, 24-8 in its first season competing at the Division I level, is the top seed in its five-team pool. The Matadors open pool play with matches against Alabama Birmingham and Colorado State on Thursday. Loyola Marymount (18-15) opens with matches against Dayton and Memphis State.
