Sean LaChapelle, Reggie Moore and Scott Miller all are members of the “30-500” club, meaning each has caught at least 30 passes for 500 or more yards.
This is the only season other than 1982 in which three Bruin receivers have reached this plateau.
LaChapelle has 35 catches for 535 yards, Moore 33 for 549 and Miller 30 for 548. Miller, who missed the first three games with a broken collarbone, has a team-high seven touchdown catches.
By contrast, Gary Wellman is USC’s leading receiver with 47 catches for 796 yards. The Trojans’ No. 2 receiver, Larry Wallace, has caught only 17 passes for 215 yards.
