LAGUNA NIGUEL : Kreber Appointed to Municipal Court

Gov. George Deukmejian on Wednesday appointed Municipal Court Judge Ronald P. Kreber as a Municipal Court judge in Laguna Niguel.
Kreber, 53, replaces Judge David C. Velasquez, who was elevated to Orange County Superior Court.
Kreber, of Laguna Beach, has been a Municipal Court judge in Fullerton since 1988. He maintained a private law practice in Newport Beach for nine years before his appointment to the bench, and served as a deputy district attorney in Orange County for seven years before that.
Kreber was also a Los Angeles police officer from 1963 to 1972.
