Henry Tillman, the 1984 Olympic heavyweight champion, defeated Linwood Jones in a unanimous 10-round decision at Daytona Beach, Fla.

Neither Tillman nor Jones had a knockdown during the fight attended by about 500 in a hotel parking lot. Tillman, weighing in at 218 pounds, improved his career record to 22-5 with 14 knockouts. Jones, at 277 pounds, admitted he was 40 pounds out of shape. His record dropped to 8-12.
