Athene Seyler; British Satiric Comedy Actress Was 101

Athene Seyler, 101, British actress for six decades. She made her stage debut in 1909, but first hit her stride in 1920 in Shakespeare’s “As You Like It.” Miss Seyler also appeared in more than 30 movies, including “Quiet Wedding” in 1941, “Nicholas Nickleby” in 1947, “The Pickwick Papers” in 1954 and “Make Mine Mink” in 1960. In London on Sept. 12.
