IRVINE : Woman Hurt When Car Flips on Freeway

A 22-year-old woman’s car overturned, seriously injuring her left wrist and hand, in a two-car crash Sunday on the San Diego Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The CHP said Rebecca George of Laguna Hills was traveling south about 70 m.p.h. just north of Jeffrey Road when her car rear-ended a vehicle that had slowed to about 40 m.p.h.
George’s car overturned, the CHP said. She was taken to Irvine Medical Center. The driver of the other car was not injured.
