COUNTYWIDE : Last-Chance Census Campaign Scheduled
- Share via
Census questionnaires mailed to Ventura County residents in March may still be returned, spokesman Larry Bryant said Thursday.
The forms can be mailed to the Census District Office or the Regional Census Center.
The U.S. Census Bureau is also scheduling a two-week campaign beginning Sept. 1 for those who may have been overlooked during the initial count.
Ventura County achieved the highest questionnaire return in the state at 76%, Bryant said. County Planning Division officials estimate that between 2,000 and 4,000 were not returned.
The census will officially end Sept. 15. Results are to be made public Dec. 31.
