How to get there: From Fairbanks, the flight to Anaktuvuk Pass and the Eskimo village is offered by Frontier Flying Service, 3820 University Ave., Fairbanks, Alaska 99701, (907) 474-0014. Round-trip fare is about $190.
What to do: At Denali National Park, “flight-seeing” around Mt. McKinley is offered by Denali Air, P.O. Box 82, Denali National Park, Alaska 99755, (907) 683-2261. Flights are frequent and cost about $110 for a 7O-minute outing. Morning flights usually have a better chance than afternoon flights of viewing the mountain clearly and up close.
