City of Hope Honors Developer

The City of Hope has established a medical genetics research fellowship in recognition of Irvine-based developer Kathryn G. Thompson.

More than $300,000 was raised at the City of Hope’s Construction Industry Alliance dinner honoring Thompson last January. The president of Kathryn G. Thompson Development Co., she was presented with the alliance’s “Spirit of Life” award at the dinner.

The fellowship will support the clinical and basic scientific work of the City of Hope’s Department of Medical Genetics, a leader in the field.
