NEW YORK — England is the top foreign destination of Americans vacationing this summer and Florida is the No. 1 domestic spot for the upcoming season, according to an American Express forecast released today.
Travel agents surveyed in 100 cities across the nation also reported a significant increase in the number of bookings to Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union and confirmed San Francisco’s continued appeal as a favorite U.S. city vacation destination.
