Fred Sands to Buy Fresno Radio Station: In what would be his second radio station purchase in as many months, Southland realtor Fred C. Sands has agreed to buy Fresno radio station KRZR-FM from Olympia Broadcasting Corp. for $1.5 million. The sale is subject to approval by the Federal Communications Commission. On April 10, Sands, who already owns rock music station KNAC-FM in Long Beach, agreed to buy rap station KDAY-AM in Los Angeles for $7.2 million.
