Ships Collide; 11 Missing

TOKYO — Eleven Japanese fishermen were missing after their vessel and a Norwegian freighter collided Thursday off Japan, Maritime Safety Agency officials said. They said the Norwegian ship, the 10,986-ton Nopal Cherry, rescued four crew members of the 60-ton Yuugen Maru No. 8 after the collision off Miyake Island, about 110 miles south of Tokyo.
