American Restaurants Profit Climbs 41%

American Restaurants Corp., a Ventura company that operates Hudson’s and Wendy’s restaurant franchises, said its profit for the first quarter ended April 1 jumped 41% to $93,616 from $66,285 a year before. The company’s first quarter sales increased 14% to $6.90 million from $6.04 million in the same period in 1989.
