Dick Clark Net Income Gains 7%

Dick Clark Productions, a Burbank-based television production company, reported a 7% gain in net income in the fiscal third quarter ended that March 31 to $460,000 from $431,000 a year earlier. Revenues fell 4% to $8.4 million from $8.7 million.
For the nine months that ended March 31, Dick Clark earned $830,000, down 48% from $1.6 million in the year-earlier period. Revenues were $22.5 million, up 11% from $20.2 million.
The company said net income in the latest nine-month period fell because of a decline in series production revenues.
