Countywide : Chief Administrator for County Honored

Ventura County Chief Administrative Officer Richard Wittenberg has been named the 1990 recipient of the top award of the American Society of Public Administration’s chapter in Los Angeles.
Presentation of the Clarence A. Dykstra Award to Wittenberg on May 24--his 50th birthday--will mark the first time a public administrator from Ventura County has received an award from the society’s Los Angeles chapter, said chapter President John Shirey.
Wittenberg has been chief administrator for Ventura County since 1978.
Wittenberg was president of the County Administrative Officers Assn. of California in 1987.
