Jones Leads City Section to Win

Dana Jones, a North Hollywood High senior, scored 17 points and Granada Hills’ Jermoine Brantley added 10 as a City Section boys’ all-star basketball team defeated a Southern Section squad, 137-126, Friday at the Forum. Shon Tarver of Santa Clara scored nine points for the Southern Section.

In the girls’ game, Hart’s Sara Wilson scored eight points as the Southern Section defeated the City, 82-79. Katina Mines of Sylmar scored 13 in a losing effort.
