World IN BRIEF : LEBANON : Iran Envoy Said to Hold Hostage Talks

Iran sent the brother of President Hashemi Rafsanjani to Lebanon for the second time last month to discuss the release of Western hostages, a senior Muslim security source in Beirut said. The source said Mahmoud Rafsanjani arrived 10 days ago and had met many officials of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah (Party of God) which is thought, despite its denials, to be holding most of the Western hostages in Lebanon.
