Orange County artists are invited to create banners to hang outside their studios on Earth Day, April 22, to help draw attention to ecological issues. The banners should include the image of the planet or the word earth. Photographs of the banners should be sent to ACTS (Artists Contributing to the Solution), a group of artists, organized by the Southern California Women’s Caucus for Art, who are addressing environmental concerns through a yearlong series of exhibits, events, panels and performances including a March, 1991, show of installations by Beverly Naidus, Jerry Burchfield and others at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Ana. ACTS’s address is 1727 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, Calif. 90012.
