COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Colarusso Pitches the Titans Past Arizona

Sam Colarusso pitched a complete game to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 10-3 victory over Arizona Thursday in a nonconference baseball game at Tucson.
Colarusso, a senior right-hander, had two strikeouts and walked two. He is 1-1.
Rich Gonzales, Mate Borgogno and Matt Hattabaugh each had three hits for Fullerton (2-3), which had 13. Borgogno hit a home run.
Bobby Kopenhaver had two hits, including a two-run single in the fourth to put the Titans ahead, 5-1. Steve Gill, a junior transfer from Cypress College, had an RBI triple for Arizona (4-5).
In other nonconference baseball:
Chapman 4, St. Mary’s 0--Dave Paveloff (2-1) struck out seven, walked one and allowed seven hits for Chapman (4-3) at Hart Park. Jason Rolish led off the game with a home run and went two for four. Chris Cutliff went two for four with an RBI for Chapman. St. Mary’s dropped to 1-3.
In nonconference men’s tennis:
Chapman 7, Hawaii 2--David Seline and Darrin Capik won, 7-5, 7-5, for Chapman (2-0) at home.
In Big West Conference women’s basketball:
Fresno State 87, UC Irvine 51--Simone Srubek scored 17 and Dawn Stewart 15 to lead visiting Fresno State (14-6, 7-3). Kathy Lizarraga scored 20 for Irvine (1-19, 0-11).
Jenny Lee and Felicia Dixon scored 11 each for Irvine.
