WOMEN’S SOFTBALL

Cal State Fullerton 7-1, Cal State Northridge 1-0--Ann VanDortrecht and Shireen Campbell combined to hold Cal State Northridge to one run in 14 innings, sweeping a season-opening women’s softball doubleheader.

Debbie Dickmann and Heather Lindstrom took the losses on the mound for the Lady Matadors, who collected 12 hits--all singles--in the two games.
