A murder suspect shot and killed himself in the attic of a Burbank house after officers arrived to arrest him Tuesday, authorities said.
Angelo Trujillo, 22, shot himself in the chest about 7:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Providencia Avenue, Burbank Police Sgt. Don Goldberg said. A handgun was found at his side, officers said.
The shooting apparently occurred while police stood at the door and questioned the man’s mother and girlfriend, Goldberg said.
On Jan. 27, Trujillo allegedly killed Ralph Gutierrez, 22, of Valinda, during an argument at a bar in Hollywood.
