Trabuco’s Manning Commits to Cal

Tim Manning, a Times’ All-County defensive back from Trabuco Hills High School, has made an oral commitment to attend Cal, he said Wednesday night.
Manning, Orange County’s career leader in interceptions, also played quarterback for Trabuco Hills, leading the Mustangs to their second consecutive Southern Section Division VIII championship. And he helped the basketball team reach the state Division III championship game last season.
Manning said he selected Cal over Iowa State and Princeton.
