HOH Agrees to Buy B&B; Water Conditioning

HOH Water Technology Corp. of Newbury Park agreed to acquire B&B; Water Conditioning Inc., a San Diego company that distributes residential water treatment equipment. Terms were not disclosed.
HOH is developing a water purification device for homes but has yet to produce any for sale. Last week the company said it received $3.5 million in financing that it will use in part to help finish a manufacturing plant in Puerto Rico.
B&B; Water Conditioning, with about $2 million in annual sales and about 30 employees, would become a wholly owned subsidiary of HOH under the deal.
