Two men have been arrested and booked in connection with the killing of a man when a Christmas Day party in El Sereno ended in violence.
Tommy Fraijo, 29, was attending the party at the home of a neighbor, Johnny Vega, when he was killed in an exchange of gunfire about 2:30 p.m., police said. Vega, 21, and Robert Jones, 31, were booked Tuesday on suspicion of murder, said Detective Robert Suter of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division. Suter said Vega and Jones were neighbors and that gunfire followed an argument between their two families over a parking space.
“They had been partying and drinking,” Suter said of the two men. “One thing led to another.” About 50 shots were fired, Suter said.
