LOS ALAMITOS — Two Los Alamitos men and one teen-age juvenile have been arrested on rape charges after police traced a license plate to the home of one of the alleged assailants, police said.
Sergio Cervantez, 24, Israel Moreno, 33, and the 16-year-old boy were arrested at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Los Alamitos Police Detective Victor Cantu Jr. said.
Cantu said a 36-year-old woman, also from Los Alamitos, was allegedly offered a ride home from a local bar about 9:30 p.m. Friday by the three.
“She was driven to a remote parking lot and attacked by two of the three men in the car,” Cantu said.
The woman was then driven to El Dorado Park in Long Beach and left there, Cantu said. She managed to flag down three men in a passing car, who chased the suspects until they copied the license plate number.
Moreno and Cervantez were taken to Orange County Jail; the teen-ager was taken to Orange County Juvenile Hall. They all were held on sexual assault charges.
