Host Royal High won its 32nd consecutive Marmonte League water polo match and ninth consecutive league title with a 14-6 victory over Thousand Oaks on Friday.
The win lifted Royal’s record to 11-6, 7-0 in league play.
Royal’s Devin Hurst scored eight goals to push his season total to 102. Hurst set the Royal season scoring record last year with 112 goals. He has five regular-season matches remaining in which to erase that mark.
Previously, Dain Hurst, Devin’s older brother, had held the Royal single-season scoring record with 106 goals.
